Training on Trade Data for Trade Policy Making
23-27 November 2019 | Dhaka, Bangladesh
Working with our friends and colleagues at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh (PRI), InterAnalysis delivered a 5 day capacity building programme on Trade Date for Trade Policy Making for the Ministry of Commerce and Tariff Commission. This was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
We are extremely grateful to Przemyslaw Kowalski for delivering an intensive practical week of training and to PRI’s Dr MA Razzaque and his team for hosting and supporting the week long programme so efficiently and warmly. Przemek and Razzaque are both Sussex alumni and it was a delight to have them both working on this project.
The week included a Project Launch and Consultation Programme in the presence of Bangladesh’s Minister of Commerce, Honourable Mr. Tipu Munshi, MP, where Bangladesh’s capacity building needs were discussed, including its ongoing trade relationship with the EU after Bangladesh’s LDC graduation.
Together with colleagues, Kamala Dawar and Mattia Di Ubaldo, at the University of Sussex, InterAnalysis has worked with ODI to deliver a technical study on the EU-Bangladesh LDC graduation.
